In November 2015 Rose Partners was approached by a leading explosive threat mitigation organisation to conduct an external audit on their operating practices and corporate governances. The organisation was contracted by the United Nations and were conducting explosive remnants of war clearance in central Iraq.
In order to meet service delivery, the organisation required an impartial review of its internal controls and governance. Rose Partners directly deployed a senior risk advisor to Iraq to conduct an objective review and assessment of the organisation’s business activities. Over a period of several weeks, our consultant was able to identify a number of significant system failures and governance deficiencies. Our consultant worked directly with the organisation’s senior leadership to rectify the observations and implement internal systems and controls that directly led to enhanced business delivery, alongside improvements in the safety and security of staff. The controls developed by our consultant have now been implemented across all of the organisation’s global business activities.
